This course consists of the study of obtaining, writing and transmitting construction documentation for technical and legal requirements for construction and telecommunication projects, as well as the formatting of presentations concerning projects. Discussions on the 2004 Master Format, and how to better implement its use in the preparation of RFP's and documentation. It will provide the student with the necessary background to understand, read and prepare general and technical specifications and other documents involved in the conduct of a project. Students will also exercise and enhance their communications skills through written exercises.

This 3 Day class is equivalent to the final 3 days of the PM 125 program. Students work in teams to develop a project pl.an for a typical telecommunications, OSP, Wireless, Data Center, Security & Access Control,
IT, or CATV project. PM 100 is a prerequisite for this class. We will contact you for your choice of city, date,
and speciality. The TPMA Certification Exam is included
along with all test fees. |
